Here are some of the changes:

New Weekly Digest email notifications

There are now two ways to get email notifications of new Tips: A daily email with the day's Tip or a once a week email with links to all the Tips from the previous week. To change from the Daily email to the Digest email, click the link to Update your Preferences from the footer of any Basics4Mac notification email. If you are not yet receiving email updates and would like to, you can sign up here.

New Site Search powered by Google

The built-in searching of the Basics4Mac system isn't very smart which could make it hard to find the information you were looking for. The new Google Search box is a lot smarter. (While I prefer not to have advertising on Basics4Mac, that is the trade-off for implementing Google Search.)

New Printer-Friendly view of Tips

Each Tip has a link to a page formatted without the masthead and side bars for better printing results.

New ways to share Tips

Each Tip contains links links for easy sharing of the Tip with others via email, Twitter, Facebook and many other social networking sites.

New ways to get notified of new Tips In addition to the email lists, you can follow @basics4mac on Twitter and become a Fan at Facebook.

You can also add Basics4Mac headlines to your MyYahoo! page, myAOL page and your iGoogle page.
