If you have a notebook Mac or an iMac, you can use Photo Booth. Use Photo Booth to take a snapshot or two. You can use the image effects to add flare or weirdness to your snaps. When you have a picture you like, click the Buddy Picture button. Zoom and Scroll the Buddy Pic to your liking. (A close up of your face works well.) Lion Note: Photo Booth in Lion has a full screen mode that adds a lot of glitz but changes Photo Booth from a simple, easy to app to a confusing mess. (In my opinion, of course.)
